Mechanical Messiah

mes·si·ah - a leader or savior of a particular group or cause.

Just ten minutes from my home in Lynn, Massachusetts, stands an old stone edifice, High Rock Tower. It was erected in 1906 to replace a previous tower which had burned down. It has a domed observatory on it's roof, the telescope has been updated throughout the decades. I thought that alone made this landmark a good fit for this contest.

To sum up the story - In the mid 1800s, on this very site, a Spiritualist medium built a robot of sorts at the behest of some very famous ghosts.
So, my Jaeger has returned to defend the land where his ancestor was first conceived and tinkered into reality.
He is powered by a nuclear Sacred Heart, sports a razor-sharp halo, and stuns the Kaiju with four stigmata.
